Child Services, Condition Specific Support, Family / Parenting, and Youth Services

- Early Intensive Behaviour Intervention (0-6 years): Supports children with autism and/or an intellectual disability. Provides assessments and comprehensive planning services.
- Positive Behaviour Support for Children and Youth (6-18 years): This service is offered to families with school-aged children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other intellectual disabilities. Consultants use a family-centered approach and a systematic application of principles of behaviour to develop a Positive Behaviour Support Plan to teach new skills and address problem behaviours in a variety of settings.
- Behaviour Support for Adults (19 years +): This service is offered to adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other intellectual disabilities. Consultants work in partnership with the family and other service providers to systematically teach new skills and address problem behaviours. The primary goal is to ensure successful inclusion of the individual in the home and community and durable positive change in their quality of life.
- Employment Skills Training (14-18 years): PosAbilities Employment Service assists individuals with diverse abilities to prepare for, secure and maintain competitive employment. They will help match your skills and interests with paid employment opportunities and provide you with on-the-job training and support.
Services are offered in the Lower Mainland, on Vancouver Island, and in the Okanagan region. They provide support to children, youth, and adults in all of these regions.
